It started when Johnny Ramone was confronted with the idea of a tribute album and was asked if he wanted to participate, to which he agreed, as long as he would have full control over the project. He was able to get Rob Zombie as a co-producer, and call upon different bands to participate.

The Guinness Encyclopedia of Popular Music named “Pure Mania” one of the best 50 punk albums of all-time.
Third studio album of The Ducky Boys, recorded and released in 2004 (Thorp Records). The group reverted back to a three piece band with a big, professional recorded sound for the album.
Band was formed in 1979 by Steve Jones and Paul Cook, both formerly of the Sex Pistols. As in the Pistols, Jones played guitar, while Cook played drums. Jones supplied lead vocals. Andy Allen, a friend of Jones, joined the band as bass player. He was later ousted and was replaced by Paul Myers. Also joining the band was guitarist Ray McVeigh. They signed to Virgin Records in early 1980. They released the album “I Didn’t See It Coming” in November 1981.

The album was recorded live at London’s Finsbury Park on June 23, 1996 during the band’s Filthy Lucre Tour.
“Flogging a Dead Horse” is a compilation album of singles by the Sex Pistols, released after their break-up, and includes the four songs that were issued as singles A-sides from “Never Mind the Bollocks, Here’s the Sex Pistols” with three of their B-sides, as well as the six A-sides that were issued off the “Great Rock ‘n’ Roll Swindle” and one B-side, “My Way”.
On October 28, 1977, the SexPistols unleashed their debut album, “Never Mind the Bollocks, Here’s the Sex Pistols” (Virgin Records). It shot straight to the top of the album charts and stayed there for an astonishing 47 weeks.

Swingin’ Utters fourth full-length album. Released in 1998, it was their second album on Fat Wreck Chords.

Discipline is a Streetcore band, from Eindhoven, Holland, formed around 1990.
With “Nice Boys Finish last” (1999) Discipline definitely earned herself a place at the top of the entire European Street Rock -scene. To promote this album Discipline did a few European tours again with the likes of Agnostic Front, Dropkick Murphys and US Bombs.

Brain Failure is one of the only tried and true punk bands to survive and make it out of Beijing, China. Having formed in high school, the band has been crafting their street punk anthems for years. After many demos and smaller releases the band has now made it out of China, most notably, by catching the ear and winning the support of Ken Casey of Dropkick Murphys. Ken has taken these guys under his wing and has gotten them on the “Give Em The Boot Volume 4” compilation, taken them on tour in Japan with Dropkick Murphys, and produced their record, “American Dreamer”.

Perkele were founded in 1993, and they were classic rebel punk band. After 1995, frontman of the band Ron started to listen more Ska and Oi music like Cockney Rejects, The Selector, Bad Manners, Cock Sparrer or The Oppressed so they had changed they style to pure streetrock¨n¨roll.

The Ruts were a reggae-influenced British punk rock band, notable for the 1979 Top 10 hit “Babylon’s Burning”, and an earlier single “In a Rut”, which was never a hit but was much played and highly regarded by the noted disc jockey John Peel.

Social Distortion’s musical style began as decidedly punk rock, when the band formed in the late 1970’s. They are thought to be one of the pioneering bands of the original Southern California punk rock movement out of Orange County, California. In the mid-80’s there was a notable change in their style of music – taking more from their country music and classic rock and roll roots.
Social Distortion released their first Greatest Hits compilation on June 26, 2007. It includes their hit singles from Mommy’s Little Monster to Sex, Love and Rock ‘n’ Roll, but no songs from Mainliner are included. Along with a new studio recording of the song, “Far Behind”, new studio recordings of 6 of their classic songs are included as well.
Real McKenzies, are a from Vancouver punk band deeply rooted in their Scottish heritage with a sound best described as the Sex Pistols meet Scottish folk legend Robbie Burns.

For sheer lack of substance, you can’t beat retro rock n’ roll. Spend a Night in the Box is the Reverend Horton Heat’s opportunistic rock n’ roll/swing hybrid.
One of the few true heroes of the punk era, former Clash frontman Joe Strummer walked it like he talked it, never losing his commitment to either his music or his ideals.
The tragedy of the album, though, is that Strummer did not live to see its completion. The former Clash frontman died unexpectedly in December of a heart attack at the age of 50, leaving bandmates Martin Slattery and Scott Shields, acting as producers, to finish what proves to be Strummer’s best solo effort and one of the best rock records of the year.
The Business is an English Oi!/punk band formed in the late 1970s. Their classic album “Suburban Rebels” became a seminal record for the Oi! movement.
Their song, “England 5 – Germany 1”, (based on a result of a World Cup Qualifying match in 2001), became a football anthem for England.
“Hardcore Hooligan” (2003), is a testament of that which binds the working class experience – 12 anthemic songs about Football and all that goes with it.
First issued in 1988 this was viewed as a compilation “Best Of” of the bands first decade.
Punk: Attitude is a documentary on the history of punk rock in the USA and UK. The film traces the different styles of punk from their roots in 60s garage and psychedelic bands (Count Five, the Stooges) through glam-punk (New York Dolls) to the 70s New York and London scenes and into the hardcore present. Interviews with many of the musicians are edited with live clips and historical footage.
